Parmalat in the Community
We’re proud to support a number of causes in the communities in which we operate. Here are a few of our beneficiaries:
We donate both white milk and fresh dairy products to Foodbank Queensland on a weekly basis. Each week we send pallets of 2 Litre bottles of Pauls fresh milk and various yoghurt, cream, custard and dairy dessert products, which is then distributed via Foodbank’s distribution network. For more information on the great work Foodbank do nationally, visit www.foodbank.com.au.
We're also a proud supporter of West End Community House, commiting to donate for the next 3 years to the "$40k in 40 Days" initiative. West End Community House seeks to assist those less fortunate who are in need, providing a number of services to the local community. For more information, visit www.westendcommunityhouse.org.au.

Parmalat takes to the streets for the special children of Variety
For many years now Parmalat and its employees have supported Variety QLD in its efforts to raise funds for those very special children in our community.
This year Parmalat continues its commitment by way of donation supporting a private entry (Ian Hall -- retired employee) into this year’s XXXX Gold Variety Bash. This entry is a rebuilt 1967 Toyota Crown which has been suitably sign written in the “Breaka” flavoured milk livery and joins 150 other vehicles, over 400 people in August travelling some 3,000 kms from Emerald to Mission Beach via Mt Isa.
This event is one of many that Variety organise with the aim of raising money to empower children who sick, disadvantaged or have special needs, to live, laugh and learn. The 2012 event raised in excess of 1.4 million dollars which has gone a long way to help those special children.
